Rob Richards has over 30 years experience in natural resource management in the public and private sectors since graduating from university. Rob has a background as an ecologist, sustainability educator and specialist in evidence based decision making. Rob is a also an experienced trainer and facilitator having delivered hundreds of workshops.
In 2009, he co-founded the innovative company Environmental Evidence Australia who pioneered the development and application of evidence based approaches to improve environmental decision making in Australia. In 2010, after completing studies in conducting Systematic Review of evidence in the UK, he instigated the creation of the first Australian centre of the international Collaboration for Environmental Evidence (CEE) of which Rob is a former Board member and he continues involvement in the Australian Centre for Evidence Informed Policy and practice (CEIPP). Rob is an Adjunct Professional Associate at the University of Canberra and lectures Masters of Sustainability students at Monash University in Melbourne.
Rob future interests lie in researching and implementing the growing international evidence base connecting human health and well-being with exposure to nature through Evidentiary’s It’s Naturally You initiative.
